The wealth of fresh seafood at our doorstep has inspired us to create wonderful, quick and easy seafood recipes, many designed for the BBQ. The following are some of our favorites.
Chris’s Crab Recipe
Boil crab for approximately 8 minutes. Meanwhile cut/press garlic cloves into small pieces
Once crab is done place into large bowl. Add some olive oil, pickling salt, parsley and garlic.
Serve and enjoy!
Simple Prawn Scampi
Heat skillet on medium high heat. Melt butter and garlic then add prawns for approximately 2 minutes per side. At the very end add a little white wine and whatever spice tickles your fancy!
Easy BBQ Tuna
Cut fillet into chunk size pieces and roll the outside in your favorite spice (spicy mesquite is quite good) Place on pre-warmed BBQ and cook until it is still slightly pink inside or more rare depending on your tastes. Tuna should not be overcooked!
Monica’s Marvelous BBQ Salmon Recipe
Pre heat grill on medium heat. Place salmon onto tin foil with garlic, olive oil and salt and pepper.
Add some lemon juice and Worchester and rub into salmon. Place a small layer of Dijon mustard over salmon then cover with mayonnaise.
Decorate the top as you wish (for example lemon, green onion, pepper) You can use whatever vegetables you have in the fridge.
BBQ for approximately 25 minutes depending on the thickness of your salmon. When it just flakes, it is done.
